Digital colouring by Bun Art(me).

This is too random, haha. I just stumbled upon this art at facebook and think "kolor sajalah~", safe it and try to colour it~ haha, i did all of the process of editting and digital colouring in 1hour and 15 minutes. The editting process was... Hell! haha, it was messy because the format is JPEG and i need to convert to BMP. I find it easier to edit BMP format XD, digital colouring was pretty simple althought i only used mouse for this piece. Enjoy~

Collaboration with other artist's

This is my character design for my collaboration project with other artist's/my friends XD it took me awhile to make this happened because I'm way too busy with work. Well... people say a successful person knows how to manage their time so I'm trying my best to organize my schedule because now my interest are not only art but also exercise, yeah... i want to look good too~ XD

Latest, lazy and upcoming.

The image below is my latest art(the latest to finish), now I'm scannerless =_=''. But don't worry i'll post the better version later. As you can see that it's a simple character with black suit, my fav colour. Coz i like black and white art actually. I kinda messed up with the shadow =S, but hey! give me a break XD. My material ( A4 paper, eraser, 0.5 pencil, 0.3 pen, 0.5 pen and 1.0 pen).

This is my lazy sketch, i just want to warm up my hand abit because i didn't draw much recently XD

This is my one of my art project, its not finish yet. Actually now i can post the finished version but i'm not satisfied with it, just wait for the final version later. This post is just to shortened the gap for my upcoming post :)

 

Salute to ambuyart, this is his OC of Xibitkomik that i drew. I didn't really finish it, i just keep it simple because of my knowlegde in digital art is still low. Enjoy~

Bleach fan art - well.. im not a fan thoo..

For this piece.... its really new for me, really. Sorry to bleach fan! i didn't really the character draw in detail... well i too lazy to search for their image so i draw what i remember only.

Material - A4 paper, mechanical pencil (0.5), eraser, drawing pen black (0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 1.0).

That's the material i used for this art, to be frank i kinda regret buying wacom tablet.. i didn't use it for this art. I scan the piece by using paint scanner, then i save it using Bmp( i use Bmp because it a hellish large file and easier for editing ) format, go to Microsoft picture manager and retone the black & white outline. Then use photoshop CS3 for digital colouring, ohhhh.... this process driving me crazy... but in the end i kinda made it... you think so?

upcoming post - I'm drawing Ambuyart (Bruneian Cartoonist) OC, I already got his permission to draw it. It's related to his Xibit Komik project, before i want to join the crew but somehow i can't because there's only small chance they publish the second issue. So wait for the next update :)

Buff

This is one of the non logical perspective, im focusing on the character right arm to make it unique although the pose are simple. The colouring i used Photoshop CS3, i use mouse instead of tablet because im too lazy to use tablet. Im still trying to find my depth in digital colouring because im still a total beginner.

1. Brainstorming, i didn't take much time as it is a simple pose, didn't take long to do the rough                sketch.
2. Sketching, this is where the ideas coming in. Many drastic changes during these process.
3. Pencilling, this is ghe hardest part, alot of error in drawing reveal here so it takes longer time                 and effort during this process because this is the end of manual editting. I spent most time during        these process.
4. Inking, so far this process is the easiest, but it depends what type of pen you're using, the more           comfortable you use it the easier the process undergo. For this art i did it pretty fast.
5. Digital colouring, offcourse scanning first, i find it harder to colour it using tablet :S, instead i                used touchpad and mouse. Yeah, digital editting is tough for tradional artist like me :( but i'll try             my best. Actually i don't know what's the use of layer, its rather confusing because i can colour              it in one layer :/, please respond if any of you can teach more about digital colouring.

Perspective

For me, drawings, you can do anything to it, logic or not its up to you! some people say you should draw like this and like that (if you have an art teacher then its a different case). But the reality is art is not something you can predict, its a flow of our expression towards it. The above illustration by Bun Art (me) is an example of logic perspective (its not finish yet), next time I'll upload some crazy perspective. Enjoy art, you'll get unexpected outcome.
